Neotrix is a modular, hands-on learning system that combines tangible building blocks with additional AR enhancements to foster family-based STEM exploration. Designed for co-discovery between parents and tweens—or tweens and their friends—Neotrix transforms science learning into a relational, interactive, and deeply memorable experience. With simple magnetic connections, intuitive circuit paths, and engaging AR animations, users can build, experiment, and learn together—no prior tech background required.

Background & Research Motivation
While family involvement plays a key role in shaping young people’s interest in STEM, most educational tools today emphasize individual learning and one-directional instruction. Through field research, user interviews, and literature review, I identified a critical gap: the lack of learning experiences that prioritize shared exploration, emotional bonding, and accessibility across diverse family backgrounds.
